Making Your First Jump

A Tandem skydive in our opinion is the ultimate high speed experience of a lifetime. After only 30 minutes briefing, you will be on your way for your tandem skydive harnessed to your instructor. You will exit the aircraft at 10,000ft and experience the thrill and exhilaration this sport can offer. With the parachute open, take five minutes to enjoy the spectacular views as you float back down to earth. Relax and enjoy this unique sensation, knowing you are in the very capable hands of a qualified BPA Tandem Instructor. Accelerated Freefall (AFF) is without a doubt the Rolls Royce version of student parachuting. It combines the best of both the Tandem and Static line courses. After 6-8 hours of ground school you will take to the skies, and at 11,000ft exit the aircraft accompanied by your AFF instructors. Your freefall will be 30-40 seconds at 120mph after which you will open your parachute. Relax and manoeuvre your large square parachute to land, where both your instructors will be waiting. This level 1 skydive will be filmed so those magic moments can be saved forever. Finally, the Static Line (RAPS) course is the first step in making a solo jump. The course involves 6-8 hours ground school with both lectures and practical activity. You will exit the aircraft at 3,500ft on a large square parachute which you will manoeuvre back to the landing area, with instruction provided by instructors on the ground via a radio. All courses are conducted under the rules and regulations laid down by the BPA and CAA.
